Our Dragons programme is great for developing basic martial arts skills while balancing confidence and respect. As well as the development of physical skills, students will also take part in our own character development programme.
The Junior Taekwondo classes will expand your children's physical skills at the same time as introducing them to a full Taekwondo syllabus. For your child to have the best chance possible at reaching black belt before they get to High School, we suggest 2-3 training sessions per week.
Training classes for families are rare though at the Warrior Factory we have them almost every day. These classes provide an ideal environment for your family to develop and train together in the same class. We even have a family discount scheme to help with the cost of training.
Adults have the choice of Taekwondo and Ju Jitsu. These classes are great for fitness, self defence or those of you just wanting to try something different and exciting. Our instructors are friendly and make it as easy as possible for you to jump in a class and have a go.
Well done to the small but dedicated group of Warrior Ju Jitsu students that passed their grading today at the Halifax Warrior Factory martial arts centre in Hipperholme.
Stephen Cocker and James Stockton passed their green belt while Liam Clarke and Richard Poole passed their yellow belt. Even though there was only four students grading, it still took two hours for them to demonstrate that they met the requirements to pass the grading.
Club instructor Phill Payne said ‘They have prepared well for the grading and the standards were really good. We are lucky to have such a good group of martial arts students that are always willing to go out of their way to help each other. I am really looking forward to seeing them develop over the next few years.’.
Last weekend we held a Taekwondo training day to help our students get more experience sparring with different people. With around 40 students from Team Taekwondo, Premier Taekwondo (from Huddersfield), Kan Chul Taekwondo (from Rotherham) and Horizon Taekwondo (from Bradford) in attendance, the session was a great opportunity for local clubs to come together and for the students to spar with other students of a similar experience level.
