3-6 Year Olds

Our Dragons programme is great for developing basic martial arts skills while balancing confidence and respect. As well as the development of physical skills, students will also take part in our own character development programme.

7-11 Year Olds

The Junior Taekwondo classes will expand your children's physical skills at the same time as introducing them to a full Olympic Taekwondo syllabus. Our aim is to get you child to black belt around the time they move up to High School.

FAMILIES

Training classes for families are rare though at the Warrior Factory we have them almost every day. These classes provide an ideal environment for your family to develop and train together in the same class. We even have a family discount scheme to help with the cost of training.

ADULTS

Adults have the choice of Taekwondo and Ju Jitsu. These classes are great for fitness, self defence or those of you just wanting to try something different and exciting. Our instructors are friendly and make it as easy as possible for you to jump in a class and have a go.

OUR INSTRUCTORS ARE TRAINED TO THE HIGHEST LEVELS
In the past, many martial arts students have set up their own clubs after passing their black belt with no knowledge of teaching or coaching. At Warrior Factory academies many of our instructors are not only qualified fitness professionals, but many have, or are studying for a sports related degree. It is also company policy that all instructors follow a Continuing Professional Development programme.
OUR FULL TIME VENUES ARE DESIGNED AROUND YOUR NEEDS
We pride ourselves in having some of the best martial arts training facilities in West Yorkshire. Not only are our Leeds and Halifax martial arts centres full time, they also have free parking, changing facilities, a matted combat room, as well as a comfortable seating areas for parents with bean2cup coffee machine and free internet connection. 
WE ONLY OFFER AUTHENTIC PROGRAMMES
Although we deliver different martial arts programmes at the Warrior Factory academies, rather than provide a mixed martial arts system with no recognition, we choose to keep our martial arts separate. The Warrior Factory is a member of both the national governing bodies for Taekwondo (British Taekwondo) and Ju Jitsu (British Ju Jitsu Association of Great Britain).

Warrior Factory students drop kicks for cycling.

Taekwondo students from the Warrior Factory Martial Arts Centre in Halifax raise money from sponsored cycle

On Sunday March 8th, several students from the Warrior Factory Martial Arts Club, based in Hipperholme, raised money for Comic Relief by taking part in a 5 mile sponsored cycle along spen valley greenway with friends and family and raised a massive total of £553 for Comic Relief.

To follow this event, the Warrior factory will also be holding a week long bake sale and a crazy hair week for the children to raise even more money to add to the total.

All money raised from these events will be put together with the money raised from the sponsored cycle and be sent to Comic Relief.

On the Competition front, warrior factory members, Chris Cocker and Terri Lumb will be heading out to Holland one of the biggest competitions in Europe, the Dutch open.

This competition will be attended by Olympians and other world class athletes. This will be a great test before the British nationals in September.

Upcoming Chan Sau Taekwondo poomsae seminar on the 21st of March

Upcoming Taekwondo poomsae seminar with British ranked number one Chan Sau at the Leeds martial arts centre.

Chan Sau has had over 21 years of Experience in Taekwondo including training, the running of his own club as well as taking part in national and international Poomsae competition.

Chan Sau is also a Class A British Taekwondo National Qualified Poomsae Judge, A British Taekwondo Regional Taekwondo Poomsae Coach, Midlands Region 2008-2011 as well as being a six time British Taekwondo Poomsae champion and a 3 time Commonwealth Taekwondo Poomsae champion in 2008, 2011 and 2014.

This Seminar will be held at the Warrior Factory in Leeds on the 21st of March. If you would like to participate in the session, it will be £10 per person and it will take place from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm for under red belts, and from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm for red belts and above. Full uniform and belt must be worn for the seminar.

This is a great opportunity for all students who enjoy or would like to improve their poomsae. For those students who are going for their Dan gradings this would be a great experience to gain some valuable feedback.

Martial Arts students take part in local Taekwondo competition

Martial Arts students take part in local Taekwondo competition

Well done to all of the students that took part in the Horizon Taekwondo competion last sunday

Students at the Warrior Factory martial arts club based in Hipperholme competed in their first Taekwondo competition of the year at Richard Dunn's sports centre in Bradford.

A total of 12 competitors took part in the event, including one taking part in a competition for the first time. This competition was good preparation for cousins Terri Lumb, 22 and Chris Cocker, 25 who will be taking part in the Dutch open next month which will see them competing against players from all over Europe.

Both competitors won their fights along with 4 other players from the Warrior Factory including: Charlie Walker who had a brilliant outing winning 15-11 and Ellis Simpson who won his match 13-1. This came after both competitor's had difficult matches in the competition they attended at the end of last year.

All competitors did very well in their fights after working on several different aspects that they had been practising in training in preparation for the competition.
