Our Dragons programme is great for developing basic martial arts skills while balancing confidence and respect. As well as the development of physical skills, students will also take part in our own character development programme.
The Junior Taekwondo classes will expand your children's physical skills at the same time as introducing them to a full Taekwondo syllabus. For your child to have the best chance possible at reaching black belt before they get to High School, we suggest 2-3 training sessions per week.
Training classes for families are rare though at the Warrior Factory we have them almost every day. These classes provide an ideal environment for your family to develop and train together in the same class. We even have a family discount scheme to help with the cost of training.
Adults have the choice of Taekwondo, Ju Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. These classes are great for fitness, self defence or those of you just wanting to try something different and exciting. Our instructors are friendly and make it as easy as possible for you to jump in class and have a go.
Over the past few years, classes on bank holidays have been poorly attended. This Easter we are cancelling all classes on Good Friday and Easter Monday and replacing them with an open mat session running at 18:00-20:00 both days. This open mat session is open to any of our Halifax Taekwondo or Ju Jitsu members and there will be an instructor on hand to assist you.
If you are normally booked in for a Friday or a Monday class and would prefer to make the class up on another day, thats also fine. We always encourage students to make up for missed classes as good attendance has a positive correlation with students attending regular gradings.
If you attend martial arts classes at our Leeds venue in West Park, your classes will be unaffected and the Saturday class will be on as normal.
On Saturday 15th March, fifteen students from our Halifax venue took part in a sponsored cycle for Sports Relief. Sports relief raise money to help provide shelter for victims of domestic violence & the homeless within the UK. On a global scale, Sports relief help children into education, providing clean water and vaccinations for those who do not have access to these things.
In a series of high profile seminars at the new Warrior Factory venue in Leeds, Chloe Bruce will be hosting a training seminar on the 20th of April. The martial artist, stuntwoman, model and all around super kicker will be teaching advanced kicking techniques and the flexibility routine that helps her maintain her super flexibility.
We have 30 spaces for this seminar and they will be offered to Team Taekwondo members first. If there are any places left, we will then offer them externally. Cost for the seminar is £25 and this includes a signed photo of you with Chloe. We know that you would normal spend most of Easter eating chocolate but we though we would offer you a healthier alternative :)
Please speak to your instructor to reserve your place.
